Warp Calendar

About

Warp Calendar is an events, bookings and calendar plugin for WordPress. The free plugin is on WordPress.org, and Warp Calendar Pro adds paid ticketing, check-in, online meetings and more on top of it.

Who is behind it

Warp Calendar is built and run by Saurabh Siddhu Guttedar, a full-stack engineer and systems architect based in Chennai, India. Saurabh started out blogging on Blogger, moved to WordPress soon after and has worked with it ever since: 13+ years in WordPress, 8+ years as a system administrator, and more than 1,000 WordPress sites built, fixed or looked after.

Saurabh is the engineer companies call when their platform has to grow from thousands of visitors to tens of millions without breaking. The work goes beyond writing code to designing whole systems: architecture, performance, caching, security, workflows and product logic. Saurabh has built platforms handling more than 20 million views a day with Next.js, Node.js, Python and WordPress, and engineers them to stay fast, stable and secure at scale.

For most of that time, Saurabh worked as a white-label engineer: building, scaling and rescuing platforms for agencies and companies that shipped the work under their own names. Warp Calendar, together with Warp Performance and CloudHashed, is Saurabh stepping out from behind those brands to build products in public, under Saurabh’s own name, with the same standards that clients relied on for years.

Why Warp Calendar

After years of running high-traffic WordPress sites, the same problem kept showing up: event plugins that are heavy, split simple things into many paid add-ons, or slow the whole site down. Warp Calendar aims for the opposite: fast pages, clear settings and the features event organisers actually use, in one plugin. The same care for speed behind Warp Performance goes into every calendar view.
